We are now listed in the new Harden's Restaurant Guide 2010. One of only 3 other restaurants in the whole of Shropshire.
To get into the Guide, the restaurant has to be voted by customers, and then anonymously visited by an Inspector. We would like to say a big “Thank You” to all our loyal customers who voted for us. Read Harden’s online review here...

Back for 2010 is our popular Bistro Night on the first Wednesday of each month, read about this and special feature evenings.
Situated on the A4113, the Jolly Frog Country Pub and Restaurant is but a hop and leap away from Herefordshire, but nestled into, and overlooking, the southernmost of the rolling Shropshire Hills.
On the edge of the picturesque village of Leintwardine, the pub is only 8 miles from the gastronomic haven of Ludlow. Owned and run by the highly successful local team Jayne and Martyn Emsen, the dining experience on offer is more than just about the food. Whilst you will be offered daily changing menus with fish being a speciality, local game and meat dishes, and authentic wood fired pizzas, the character of the place and friendliness of the staff will not fail to charm.
“We are celebrating 10 years at The Jolly Frog, so a big thank you to all our valued customers and friends over the last decade”
Find out about our fantastic suppliers, and just what has Jayne written in her latest blog?
For anyone having to adhere to a special diet you will also be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to eat like everyone else – the staff here know their onions, or should that be flours. (One of the chef’s is a coeliac) Just say the word and you can have a gluten–free pasta dish made with Chestnut or Buckwheat flour, and if you want it pink you can have it coloured with beetroot juice! Wheat flour is not used in the sauces either, as they are mostly reductions, so many dishes on the menu should be suitable. Just ask a member of staff.
Need dairy–free? Again just ask.
It goes without saying that mouth–watering vegetarian options are always available too.

Martyn and Jayne welcome you in the true spirit of friendship, fine food and wine, plus a “jolly-fun atmosphere”, which they hope will be both a gastronomic delight and a memorable experience.
